Meet the Heart and Soul Behind Family Focused Yoga

Hello, I'm Jenn Stone (she, her, hers), a passionate Licensed Social Worker with a Master's degree in Educational Psychology. For the past 20 years, I've embarked on a transformative journey within the public school setting, engaging with the lives of countless young minds through my dedication of connecting.

My commitment to community goes beyond the classroom. I've played a pivotal role in fundraising for the development of the playground at Hippach Field, was an active participant in creating the Bridging Community Project. Additionally, I've proudly served on the board of the United Way of Tri-Valley, channeling my energy and efforts into creating a positive and lasting impact.

For the past two years, I've had the privilege of serving as the Enrichment Coordinator for the 21st Century’s After School and Summer Program site at Spruce Mountain. During this time, I've focused intensely on mindfulness and yoga as SEL tools to cultivate inner peace, resilience, and emotional intelligence. Witnessing the transformative impact of these practices on young hearts has ignited a profound passion within me.

My expertise is deeply rooted in the renowned ChildLight Education Company, an innovator in equipping individuals to teach yoga and mindfulness to kids. The ChildLight Education Company's is an esteemed training program, and is accredited by the Yoga Alliance. I have not only honed in on skills but also cultivated an unwavering passion for both yoga and working with children. This enthusiasm drives me to deliver exceptional experiences to the families served.

Through my journey within Childlight I have taken extra classes, gaining extensive knowledge around trauma informed yoga, mindfulness and yoga tools supporting anxiety, and specific breathing techniques.

I have recently had the privilege earning a certification in Sound Healing to infuse into my classes. Prema is led by skilled instructors steeped in the wisdom in yoga and sound healing, and is certified by the Yoga Alliance . Sound healing involves movement, toning, singing, and the use of instruments to experience a journey using sound.

On a personal level, I m blessed with a supportive and wonderful husband and two college children, holds a special place in my heart. I truly appreciate and value our time together, recognizing the beauty of shared moments. This perspective fuels my commitment to helping families create lasting memories while nurturing their physical and emotional health.
