Meet the Heart and Soul Behind Family Focused Yoga

Life can be overwhelming — for both children and adults. That’s why yoga and mindfulness matter. These simple, powerful practices help calm the nervous system, release tension, and bring more balance, focus, and ease into everyday life.

With over 25 years of experience in education and social work — and the last 5 years specializing in yoga for all ages — I bring a deep understanding of how to support emotional wellness through movement, breath, and connection.

My background allows me to meet you where you are at — whether it’s a young child learning to name their feelings, a teen managing stress, or an adult seeking stillness and self-care.

For children, classes are playful and imaginative, building emotional awareness, confidence, and tools for calming big emotions.
For adults, sessions offer space to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with themselves — physically, mentally, and emotionally.
For families, it’s a chance to bond, move, and grow together in a welcoming, supportive space.

Whether you're navigating daily stress, seeking better sleep, handling transitions, or simply looking for more peace and connection, Family Focused Yoga offers practical tools that make a difference — on and off the mat.

On a personal note, I'm a passionate Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with a Master's degree in Educational Psychology (MS., Ed Psych). For the past 25 years, I've embarked on a transformative journey within the public school setting, engaging with the lives of countless young minds through my dedication of connecting.

I’m grateful for my supportive husband and two grown children, who remind me of the value of shared moments. This inspires my dedication to helping families build lasting connections through wellness practices.

Let’s explore the magic of Family Focused Yoga together and create memories that nurture health, connection, and peace.

Warmly,
